Muhlenberg was much on the minds of those attending Mayor Robinson-Briggs' community forum on Tuesday evening, and a good number turned out, despite short notice by the mayor's public relations machine.

I am surprised after all these months Save Muhlenberg has not partnered with surrounding communities. Tell me that isn't so. If that is the case, I am not dismayed that Save Muhlenberg has been frustrated in its fight to save the hospital from closure. Without the voice and resources (influence & money)of surrounding communities Plainfield's voice of opposition is not sufficient to win the battle. Further, it would be irresponsible for the City of Plainfield to finance this worthy cause by itself. Tell me it isn't so.
